TERESA (stochel@xl.wp.pl) –   was born far away from the Tatras (about 250km), but still she found her place in our Tatras Encyclopaedia. Having finished all her studies, she started teaching

It is worth mentioning that Teresa graduated in Physics from the Jagiellonian University, but now she is teaching English and she likes doing it very much.

At that time she settled in Krakow, which is about 100km from the Tatras, but she discovered the Tatras mountains relatively late. It was in 1978, when her climbing around the Gasienicowa Valley was admired by even the goats.  Since then she has been spending as much time in the Tatras as she can .

It is hard in our encyclopaedic edition to discribe all the places she she has been to in the Tatras. We will show in the pictures only some of summits she reached in the Tatras. The black and white pictures come from Teresa's private collection black and white.
